OUR MISSION:

BATTALION 22 is determined to reduce veteran suicide rates!
To accomplish this we connect, encourage, and challenge veterans to overcome the obstacles that they face and to live life on their terms.

OUR VISION:

We want all veterans, regardless of circumstance or characteristics, to come together at BATTALION 22 meetings and events to support one another in meaningful, healthy, and positive ways.

CORE VALUES:

Confidentiality -
We offer veterans a safe space to share their thoughts and experiences to a sympathetic audience of fellow brothers and sisters in arms. What gets said in our meetings stays in our meetings.

Camaraderie -
We mimic aspects of the military in an effort to develop unit pride and trust in one another, and lots of bro hugs and horseplay are part and parcel of our meetings and events.

Personal Growth -
Wherever a veteran is in their life we encourage them to look forward, to see a better version of themselves, and we help and support them to achieve the goal of becoming that person.

Service -
We serve each other, we serve our families, we serve in our communities, and we serve others when the opportunity presents itself.

Fighting -
We fight the depression. We fight the addictions. We fight for the success that we desire and deserve. But we don't do it alone... We are in the fight together.

2026 EVENTS:

20-21 MARCH 2026

BATTALION 22 IS GOING TO ATTEMPT A TOUGH MUDDER!

You only live once… Join BATTALION 22 for what is sure to be an epic adventure, as a bunch of us attempt to defy the sands of time and common sense, not to mention a whole host of medical conditions, in order complete a Tough Mudder course. Of the many bad ideas we’ve had, this one is up there! But hey, the stories that we’ll have to share will be worth it!! Don’t miss out!!!

We want to limit this event to 6-10 veterans, so sign up soon to secure your position on the team. In early March we’ll meet to determine travel and lodging specifics. Each race participant will be responsible for ancillary costs including their share of accommodations, food and supplies, etc.

SUPPORT LOCAL VETERANS BY SUPPORTING BATTALION 22!

We are veterans supporting veterans. We're not funded by big corporations and government grants. Help us help others by shopping our merchandise and making donations. Every dollar that we get goes towards keeping the lights on, keeping events happening, and keeping our great veterans moving forward.
